Major Rushen
Regular inspections should be carried out unless you are the DOI.

My dad probably added it as he came from Ireland to work on the construction, Irish airports had thatched roofs and chimneys I believe? He also worked on the nurse's home but someone must have told him about central heating by then?

Inbound tried once to get in earlier, abandoned, went back to Manchester. Tried again later with a different aircraft. Credit to EasyJet for coming back for the second attempt, would have been very easy to just cancel and leave people to it. Yes, fair play to easyJet today, they ran their full programme of twelve flights, including the delayed MAN, which, as you say, they could easily have abandoned. Loganair ran only about 30% of their schedule, whilst Emerald didn't even try, even though the wind had reduced by the time they were due. 1-0 to easyJet in the good PR stakes, today.

But was on a 380 . Great plane . Edited November 13, 2023 by Numbnuts

2bees
Sorry if it has been posted before, but this makes me pull very strange faces and shake my head in a mixture of disbelief and disgust. Are we allowed to talk about it?

Now the greedy twat is no doubt coming back for second dibs having seen what Ranson got. We are just a bottomless pit of money for these people. It’s genuinely disgusting how many of these seem to have got big payouts under NDA to keep everything quiet.

To be fair to Loganair, they ran the afternoon Manchester, Liverpool, and London, so in terms of delay probably about the same as EasyJet. Assuming people from the earlier flights were rebooked ok, anyway. As for Spake, I’d heard he had a massive breakdown just before Christmas 2020. He posted some “interesting” things on social media around that time, saying he was going to commit suicide. I’d say his distress was genuine. That said, I’d always assumed his stress was mostly caused by the fact he was completely incapable of doing the job he was recruited to do, and that everyone at the airport knew it.
