IOM Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago I just don’t believe that the lack of flights to Belfast is down to APD the current ticket price is around £25 if EasyJet doubled the fare to £50 I suspect those who want to fly there would pay it . The problem is the load factor and nowhere near a full load at 156 seats . As others have posted the EasyJet model is not really suited to a small island which needs strong connectivity and regular flights . Those who constantly bang the drum about how wonderful EasyJet are need to stop and think because ultimately we are ending up with the service we pay for ( a £25 fare is just not sustainable in my view ) and in the case of Belfast it’s no service for vast chunks of the year . 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
