It doesn't stop you filling your car up, going on holiday, buying clothes or going to the supermarket. Egaming companies are simply providing a service/platform. There's a price to pay to use it. To do what? Nearly everyone, including nearly everyone here - whether employed or contracting, is using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. All of which is increasingly 'green'. None of which is here. Knowing how to use those industry standard services is part of people's professional skill-sets / qualifications. That is not going to change. That's what people want on their CVs.
