We’re going to pay £20,000 in a fine for the fat controller firing his own girlfriend out of a tram and breaking her leg. This is a man who's spent long millions running the bus service into the ground. He wasted hundreds of thousands on a diesel locomotive which never worked and without which the steam railway had run perfectly well for 100 odd years beforehand. He removed the hump at the top of the Snaefell mountain railway, which predictably resulted in a tram running away back down the hill and being completely destroyed - resulting in more hundreds of thousands being spent retro-fitting an emergency braking system which again, the service had operated safely for a hundred odd years before him without. You don’t just say ‘right I’m retiring’ and walk out.
