Yep, not a single person's life has been saved or suffering eased by "big pharma". I would also question the ethics of a philosophy which demands the delay in the use of a demonstrable life saving vaccine to allow for testing (animal testing at that which has its own ethical issue). Meanwhile many hundreds of thousands would die, but that is fine according to their ethical framework. As for comparing the vaccination with actions of medical personnel leading to the Nuremburg trials, please think very carefully about that. Dr Mengele conducted a huge range of "experiments" many with no scientific basis other than a curiosity, because it was legitimised. The experiments were never intended to benefit the subjects but were solely for the sake of experimentation. On the other hand, the vaccine benefits each recipient as well as society as a whole by slowing the progress/impact of infection.
