I wonder if they get woken up at 4:00am in the morning as the pissed and/or drugged up loudmouths leave the 3:30am licensed premises (1886 and Jaks) staggering their way home. Got to agree with you. It's a bit rough around the edges but the new sea wall and walkway should fix that (if DBC don't object again). The curved upper lip is designed to throw waves away from the seawall, but over time it would seem that the profile of the beach has changed, and that feature is no longer effective. During a storm, sand and stones from the beach are driven over into the road.
