Yeah, so we extend the licensing hours to 3:30am Saturday and Sunday to bring the misery to more people for a longer duration. Not this shit again. It's noisy sometimes, but it's been the entertainment centre for more than a century. For a young person you couldn't beat walking home from nightclubs in the early hours, curry in hand. When I got to the point where I was tired of the "excitement" I looked for somewhere else. It never occurred to me that what needed to happen was for everyone else to stop being able to enjoy themselves and for everything to shut at an arbitrary time that I felt was convenient for me. It never occurred to me to post the same complaint to random strangers on the internet over and over and over despite the fact that nobody is interested in reading it. I just gathered up my skirts and flounced off somewhere quieter. When everyone else in the room is a problem, sometimes it's you that's the problem. I don't men to sound disrespectful but your point is irrelevant. How rude. Irrelevant? I was saying it's the same as all towns and cities. Are they all shitholes? Or is the people who behave this way?

Since we're now pals, I'm staging an intervention and suggesting that you talk to someone who can help you, either with resolving your issue through the right channels, or with your anxiety. You're in a dark place, stubbornly preoccupied with venting the same issue over and over, unwilling to see opposing viewpoints, and it sounds like it's doing you no good at all. 1

Non-Believer
I think regardless of whatever locality you live in on the Island, you can find somewhere that echoes his filming and opinions. It's a sad state of affairs 😔
Shake me up Judy
Excellent video by Charles Guard. Nice to see him kicking ass and taking names this time. Essential viewing, and that's just Douglas. 11
Asthehills
The bit at the end from the demolition of Homefield onwards is just nonsense. Most of those sites he mentions have detailed plans drawn up and will see development in the coming years.

Barlow
Another excellent Charles Guard video. My main question is why are there double tram lines. A single tramway is ample, with maybe a passing place at the War Memorial or where ever. There will be a Douglas Promenade phase 2.
