People don’t resign 7 months in, if organisation isn’t drowning.

Is Theresa Cope now Copeless?

Having met her a couple of times I was very impressed with her and she has some good plans to turn things around but she did inherit a crock of shit!!!

Sounds good, hope it’s not the usual IOMG bullshit spin. Where are these people going to be accommodated?

Don’t they have accommodation on site  , not sure how much. The relocation package which is being enhanced will presumably cover at least some of accommodation costs for a period plus help in finding it

Yeah they do.  It's kind of like a nice hostel/uni halls of residence (at least the ones I've seen).  Fine if you're young and single etc.  Probably wouldn't be the best if you had a family.

60 though is a lot of people . And cant believe they have only recruited singles. As you say a family will struggle big time.

There are 2 & 3 bed maisonettes and semis, plus apartments as well as the halls. And they still own on Westmoreland Road and Kensington Road. There were one or two on Ballakermeen Road/Westbourne Drive as well.

Ah, but if you read the article, it isn’t 60 staff coming to the island. They are using a specialist recruitment agency to try and fill 60 vacancies. Not the same thing.

Director of Manx Care’s infrastructure. Not Department of Infrastructure.

So we have a director of infrastructure who used to be a nurse who oversees the DOI work.
that has got to be the best made up role ever, didn’t she used to be the ward manager at hospital?

clickbait headline if ever i've seen one, and overseas medical staff are not the holy grail Manx Care would like to make you think they are.
