So we have a director of infrastructure who used to be a nurse who oversees the DOI work.
that has got to be the best made up role ever, didn’t she used to be the ward manager at hospital?

I thought she was the Hospitals Manager.

Don’t they have accommodation on site  , not sure how much. The relocation package which is being enhanced will presumably cover at least some of accommodation costs for a period plus help in finding it

What a shame our stupid Government have needlessly destroyed the old Nurses Home. It could be used for a 5-10 year period, serving a purpose - accommodation and as a hostel for homeless or untenantable tenants ( the ones nobody wants due to unruly behaviour).

I don't wanna burst your cynical bubble yessir, but that building is a wreck. It wasn't "needlessly destroyed" at all. It has reached the end of its life. It costs a fortune to maintain a building like that, being in the state it's in. To restore it to full and habitable condition would cost millions. And that's just the structure. Every window needs replacing, it needs a rewire, new boilers, air-handling, lifts, insulation, asbestos removal, damp-proofing, fire alarm system bringing up to date. And much else that you have absolutely no idea of.

Just saying.

That’s what happens when any building isn’t maintained and managed by idiots

People don’t resign 7 months in, if organisation isn’t drowning.

Is Theresa Cope now Copeless?

Except Manx Care existed as a shadowing organisation for 12 months prior to 1/4/21. So it’s up to 19 months in

Manx Care only really existed in a very shadowy form though.  Middleton wasn't appointed as Secretary from April (and the job was only advertised last December).

Did he jump or was he pushed? Considering the lack of the usual notice, could be the latter.
