One wonders if the Ranson team were/are to be, queried as to how they arrived at their claim then?

If there was no wrong doing in the documents there is nothing to fear in this?

No it's a minor side-issue.  The real issue is about non-disclosure and the way in which the disclosure process was handled.  And we already know that was against all the relevant legal guidelines and processes.  Some like Ashford have admitted as much.

Still I'm sure in future defendants will be making use of the precedent where you can get the forensics done by your mates instead and have them announce in six months time that there's nothing to see here and that the accused never touched a drop/joint or that the substance was really oregano or talcum powder.
