Never heard of her.  Why did she go?

Manxcare seem incapable of solving the staffing issues, we seem too closely reliant on following the UKs failing health service and it's to our detriment.

In 12 years she’s only ever had one job that lasted more than 2 years 3 months. She seems to move on between jobs at around the 2 year mark.

That’s pretty normal if you want to progress up the career ladder.

Cynics might say it’s moving on before your turkeys come home to roost.

Very visible. Attended board meetings of Manx Care.

Not sure what she did to improve social care.

That's how we ended up with Manx Care - following an English model on Sir Jon Millionaire's advice, after said model had already been discredited across.   All Tynwald needed to do was a little due diligence - ideally before they all voted it through on the nod.

Their problem now is how to fix/reverse it without ever admitting the error that they made.

In the services it's called the butterfly syndrome, flit from department to department never achieving anything or learning anything, and move on before any tough decisions or change management need to happen. Usually of course with a glowing report so the department concerned can breathe a collective sigh of relief ! Of course posting regularly on linkeldin to fluff up the CV.

She arrived to “change the whole system”, employed a deputy director manager in adult social services who doesn’t know what she’s doing, did the same in childrens social services, those deputies then hired very inexperienced managers who don’t know what they’re doing so most of the staff on the ground level left as she and the deputies ruined everything positive. Now she leaves a month before the reported inspection?! Suspicious 🤨

If true, how does this happen time and time again?   Who originally employed her, DHSC or Manx Care?

I don’t know how they get away with employing such patently unsuitable candidates.   HR department must be at least partly to blame - either complicit or asleep at the wheel.

I believe she came on island around the time Manx care started so would imagine it was dhsc.

What is sad is the Scottish inspection reports showed services were going in the right direction, all that has been lost.

Interestingly, I just looked at her previous employer and the inspection report done when she was head there. Same issues she’s created here- could be written about her role in adults and children’s services on the island

HR need a reset if they are responsible for senior appointments as they've lumbered us with some dreadful incompetent people !

Assume for a moment that you're right, how do you propose to 'reset' HR? Who would you get to recruit new HR people?

For further examples see the liar's paradox and Godel's Incompleteness Theorems.
