And there are literally hundreds of thousands with the same bullshit in their CV.

And people on these sort of salary levels are making the suggestions, calls and decisions on taxation and charges levels for the plebs, throughout Government, however indirectly, to support their own position and income.

Does anybody think that they have any sort of connection and/or empathy with the normal working Joe/Josie and their level of income?

One of the many IOMG managers? Manx Care Boss?

its like Harry Enfields Loads of Money character or I’m considerably richer than yous.

Whilst someone may be buying or dreaming about a car, can they afford it or is it bought through Black Horse or Conister?

These managers never seem to stay anywhere for long-months rather than years.

They still have to be able to afford it.

You can’t just walk in to Conister or Black Horse and say “I need  to borrow £200/250k to buy a couple of supercars” and walk out with the money already in your account.

Well I couldn’t.

You’ll have to demonstrate you can repay any loans taken out to finance said cars.

It was called the butterfly syndrome in my day, where the post was merely used as a stepping stone to the next promotion. It always seemed no matter how big a mess they made, the next rung was never far away !

And they're savvy enough to move before they're found out to be lacking what they were actually appointed for and all the bullshit on the CV is proven to be just that.

That old thing of them being really bad in one job, applying for another and the manager, desperate to get rid of them writes a glowing reference. It was ever thus.

Some dick waving by Manx Cares flunkies, yesterday on the NPM/MR, claiming that more patients attending A&E at Nobles were being attended to within 4 hours. They are also claiming this is putting Nobles on a par with UK Hospitals, which is somewhat strange, as the UK Hospitals are taking longer than 4 hours.

Also in the same breath, virtually on s weekly basis are making weekly/daily pleas to the public not to attend A&E as they can’t cope.

If you unfortunately need to go to a&e you will notice many who don’t need to be there eg sore elbow, upset stomach, drunk etc etc , priority is given to genuine emergencies, children which is why delay occurs who non emergency treatment

Well, if folk could get a GP appointment within a reasonable time-frame there'd be less folk attending A&E.
