Manx Care's response yesterday, that masks should be worn in patient facing areas, is reasonable.  I don't like wearing masks any more than the next man, and hopefully once cases come down in the near future we'll be back to business as usual.

This is the key really.  Just wear the mask.  It's not painful, expensive, particularly arduous or longterm, just mildly annoying for a short period of time.  Anyone anti-mask is just fighting against the vague notion of 'the man telling them what to do'.

I was at the hospital yesterday and I seemed to be the only person who used the anti bacterial gel entering and leaving it really is not a big ask, perhaps the wearing of masks will remind people to make use of the gel.
