war baby
I will ad my congratulations to Stu. He took my vote, along with JPW. I think she has great potential. Maybe Health? Much needs sorting.
Derek Flint
A man I called a friend. I saw hi as a wild card for this election but he has badgered away and done good. And you know, he genuinely does give a shit about a lot of stuff. Weve some interesting times ahead. Real potential for the benches to be strong this time

It is up to each member to decide whether or not to offer their congratulations. It was the phrasing. I always hate it when people presume to say "I think I speak for all of us...". Max can congratulate Stu, but one thing we know about the forum is we don't agree anything. He's just trolling those of us don't support Stu. 5
asitis
I hope Stu asks the questions they don't want asked, if so he'll be a good irritation. I doubt his mate Glover will, he's been far too wrapped in the establishment cash to make any waves, I hope however with him I will be surprised ! The Duck of Atholl
Sorry I can’t join in the congratulations. I don’t think he has much to offer. He just wants to stand on the sidelines and throw stones for £60k a year

To my mind he never seemed to be able to ask a decent question when he hosted Talking Heads. His three stock phrases appeared to be "I think I agree with that", "I am not sure that is the case" or "I was not aware of that". If he can be so easily brushed off by callers in Talking Heads I don't think he will hold much fears for those in Government.

We had a huge party last night and I was elected. I only said that I think we should extend the forum's congratulations. If you don't think we should, then say so! It's no secret that I agree with Stu on approximately fuck all, and I am fairly concerned that he'll spend a lot of his time shouting about anything he considers to be "woke", whatever that means. I would be overjoyed to be wrong, and I hope that he concentrates on things that are actually important - such as the funding of our essential services, reduction in unnecessary Government spend, diversifying our economy, and improving our island for all her inhabitants. 3

You're just triggered because the outcome wasn't what you wanted, that's all. wrighty
I wish Stu well. I was quite conflicted in this vote, although not my area as a D Central man. I know Jane, and she was probably best for the job. I’m friends with both Keiran and Stu (yes, that’s possible) and I would have liked Keiran to get in as more likely of the two to shake up the establishment. It would have been interesting. But I also share some views with Stu - I’m a middle aged white male after all - and I hope he does ask the awkward questions he says he will. I’ll continue to try to persuade him he’s wrong on speed limits, while supporting Keiran in his next attempt should that happen. Is that a balanced view, or am I fundamentally confused?
