I wish the new House all the best, but come on folks wake up, there's a dearth of talent, ability and experience.

Some might say it has always been thus. Well we've got by ok, always have and always will do, s'pose.

Not a bad selection ptarmigan

Certainly averts the disaster of having AC in the top job

And it puts Daphne in the picture. Admit it, you would have had a thrombie if her name hadn't been there.

To be fair, all of the class of 2016 who were returned this time, will be first in line (actually no alternative) for a seat on the top table. So you'll be ok.

The reports into Nobles suggest otherwise.

Yes, most have no experience as a Minister but that's a good thing.

The idea that they should all have completed terms as an MHK/departmental experience is just establishment speaking for ensuring the same old same old continues.

We need new ways of seeing things and new ways of thinking...

I am seriously interested in the thought process behind thinking Tim Glover is the best person for DHSC?

I am also interested in what you have been drinking on a sunday morning because I am heading into town soon so could pick some up.  A prompt reply would be appreciated as I fancy an alternative to the usual Sunday red wine.

Thanks in advance

That's speaking idealistically.

There are many new MHKs who have never even sat in the public gallery, let alone chair a meeting as a Minister of a Department. Just face it, many will be clueless and like rabbits in the headlights. Depending on their Dunning-Kruger level, they are embarking on a steep and highly responsible learning curve.

Maybe they think DHSC stands for Department of Hockey Score Commentators

I asked myself "would he be anymore inept than Ashford?"

It's also rumoured Glover doesn't know how to use a paper shredder... he had staff for that at MR.

Forget any post for Laurie Hooper. His current antics in terms of vocal outbursts suggest he is looking for excuses as not to get his hands dirty. He would be positively dangerous as a minister anyway.

Johnson? Well at least he should have experience of form filling and grants if nothing else.

JPW - DESC - I think that’s a bit below for the likes of Hyacinth Bucket. Not a big enough position.

Clare Christian - good position for another expert and friend of the COC. The Civil Servants in the department will not get the measure.

Crookall - God help us.
