It was a feeding frenzy without limits. Why does the Louvre need a glass pyramid? Its just somewhere to hang some paintings. So why are the residents of our Island going to be paying so much more? Are we? I have googled and can’t find anything to say we will be paying more (or that we won’t) do you have a link? I have tried and couldn’t find an answer in response to others claims that we will be paying more than the CI. I assumed they had proof so all I asked was to see it. No it isn’t proof that we will be paying more. a 27 percent increase on a pound still results in lower prices than a 17 percent increase on one pound fifty. It is proof that our percentage increases are higher but without knowing the unit price and when it was last increased it’s a useless statistic. Depends when their last rise was compared to when ours was.

We’re tapped into the Northern Ireland pipeline for natural gas. The Channel Islands ship LPG in which is usually more expensive to start with. Indeed it is, and that's why we threw millions at MG to bring us natural gas with the promise of "cheap heat for everyone".
