Had you not heard that Putin has us all by the balls. I'm afraid it's going to get worse not better. Not sure why anyone would think Manx Gas at making money out of this debacle. They are a retailer and not a producer or even a distributor. Everyone apart from @Boris Johnsonand @Observer + a few others are living in cloud cuckoo land. Blaming Callister, what on earth can he do? The UK buys our gas, less than 3% was bought from Russia. There is blatant profiteering by someone somewhere, the backlash has to work its way upwards, or we just eat shit!

Last I heard they were going out of business all over the place. Different situation? They are in cut-throat competition with each other, leading to offering unsustainable terms in order to attract customers. MG are a monopoly supplier. And have used that position to full advantage in the recent past.
SleepyJoe
They've had years to invest the taxpayers money in renewable energy generation & have done absolutely fuck all about it

I linked to the story earlier, didn't the Gov / MUA refuse MG hedging due to credit risk?

The place was full and on a wednesday too.. Clearly some have money still . Prices were around £2 to £3 higher than a year or so ago .
