They wouldn't be painted on triskelions, they'd actually shape the blades to look like the Three Legs of Mann - at a cost of £50 million each, which of course would end up being at least three times that.

Then find masses of dead birds washing up on our shore (Billy Dale rebrands a spin-off Beach Bodies or Beach Birdies) but we'll have the ever so handy giant mesh bins by then.

And then, much like the IRIS pumping station at White Hoe with its three-bladed impeller (the cause of the vibration/noise apparently), the unbalanced turbine will vibrate heavily sending sub-sonic sounds out to confuse and kill the whales and dolphins (Billy Dale will need skips and a JCB) not to mention extending the Animal Waste Processing Plant to render them for fertilizer/dog food.

And then in 15-20 years time when they quietly fall apart and we've moved onto nuclear, tidal and hydrogen based energy, we'll try and flog them to a local scrap merchant only to find out they have so many unrecyclable materials we'll need a special pit to bury them in as we won't be permitted to transport them for disposal elsewhere.

All for the environment  climate change. Trouble is the activists literally can't see the wood for the trees and things like whole life costs, embedded carbon and proportionality (IOM = 0.0025% of world CO2) require thought and not emotion. It's all about the 'feels'.

Because Scottish local authorities are elected by proportional representation, so no political party has overall control over any local authority.  List of current control is here:

I don't think it has sunk in how big a deal this is regarding the reduction of emissions by 2030 - JUST OVER 8 YEARS!

Reading between the lines and the "discussions between UK and the IOM/ Channel Islands" we and our Southern mates have been told to get on board, there were no "discussions", we were told what to do.

This has huge implications for the island.

That we have already blown most of the £400 million "Green" loan will not help.

We will need several of them over the next 8 years to comply.

On top of global warming emissions our general air is foul, we don't test it any more because the results and the truth did not sit well with the politicians.

And therein lies the rub. If it's good enough for the local government why isn't it good enough for the national government? After all, the SNP keep telling their people what a democratic party they are. It's on the very first page of their 2021 Manifesto.

The Nations Propaganda Mouthpiece is giving full coverage to the climate change march from the Sea Terminal to the War Memorial via Strand and Castle Street. Much banging on drums, whistles and a cacophony of noise polluting the atmosphere. I feel sorry for the poor shops, who will have a poor day due to the weather. 
 

Andrew Jessop that much vaunted environmental campaigner (but great at spending ratepayers cash on white elephant and not very environmentally friendly buildings in the parish), says that climate change deniers need to wake up and smell the coffee. Personally I’d rather wake up and smell the bacon and eggs. I respect other peoples views and opinions but unfortunately some are ramming their views down everyone’s throats, to the point we’re cancel culture will come into play.

Mate if you actually look at the times they throw independence marches the numbers keep dwindling.

Whenever an snp politician is interviewed and asked how will they sustain independence they have no answer, its only the cult like members who basically fawn over sturgeon and hate the English that blindly believe in it

when you can tick several boxes by importing Nuclear  derived electricity into your Islands like Jersey and Guernsey  you already have a head start on your competitor  juristictions , also Less agriculture ,and industry , much lower CO2 emissions  30 MPH speed limit  so no need for Gas guzzler vehicles ,  and a government that seems to be more in control of its finances , I thought signatures of major treaties like this had to be debated and approved by Tynwald , can't  wait to see Daffys wants and shopping list after she returns from COPS 21  if there not careful they will sink this place !
