This seems to be repeated frequently in this thread and others, but electric cars being charged from fossil fuels are still more efficient than ICE cars burning petrol/diesel. However, Crogga only have a 4 month extension to their existing license, and a decision will have to be made to extend this further before June2022. Tynwald shysters are giving themselves a handy excuse to kick the can down the road for the gas field development. £8 BILLION solves a whole lot of fucking issues, transition to renewables/low carbon within the self imposed timeframe to 2050 being the biggest, and it would be absolute total fucking lunacy if they don't at least give Crogga the additional 18 months security they need to do the seismic surveying to assess likely recoverable reserves (find out how much is there!) 6 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
