The MLP did nearly die under Cretney with membership down to under 20 and no councillors or MHKs, but once he was sidelined and restricted to delivering Xmas cards, things started to improve for them. The piece is just the same old rehash of tired arguments against electric cars, basically they aren't perfect so they're no good.
