When David Cretney pops his clogs, the Manx Labour Party will die with him. Same with Bernie Moffatt, Mec Vannin/Celtic League will wither away. You may disagree, but they will disappear even in its original form, but that’s not to say it won’t survive in another guise/name.

Joney Faragher runs the MLP. And does a good job of it. Nothing required from DC.

The MLP did nearly die under Cretney with membership down to under 20 and no councillors or MHKs, but once he was sidelined and restricted to delivering Xmas cards, things started to improve for them.  So they're already in another guise or doing the opposite of disappearing.

It's not a Mail headline but I see the point. Although the question mark is valid as it's a bit early to test the claims made, I'm pretty sure they're correct though!

People never click on the link do they?

The piece is just the same old rehash of tired arguments against electric cars, basically they aren't perfect so they're no good.  The feigned concern for the poor is particularly nauseous - funny that these 'concerned' people never offer to pay more tax to help the poor.

Sorry, didn't notice the Mail logo!

The whole EV thing resounds to the adage, 'we must do something, here's something, let's do it!'
