Don't know how he has time to work with the amount of dining out he says he does!

Dickhead

I was doing ok for a few years.

Then life went to shit and I dealt with stuff most here clearly haven’t.

Then I dragged myself back up by my bootstraps and now I am doing well enough again that I can work when I want and eat where I want.

Most other countries that would be congratulated.  Not on the Isle of Man apparently 🙄

One minute you're a workaholic next you're a Michelin reviewer which is it?

No

I have been on both ends.  I have turned people down for being overqualified and I have been on the receiving end.

I have also worked 40 hour stints when required.

Most of you on here have led very sheltered lives.

Well if you have been turned down for a job for being overqualified why would you turn others down for the same reason? ( unless you retrospectively thought  you shouldn’t have applied for that job in the first place?)

40 hour stints ?( nearly two days without a break). Who were you working for? Hopefully from a safety perspective not in a position where you had to have all your senses about you.

I haven’t eaten a meal at home since last Boxing Day.  Up to you what you make of that.

Jesus you lot are hard work.

I turned people down years ago, then years later I was in the reverse position.

Is that difficult to comprehend?

40 hours in an IT role when the systems were down and needed sorting late 90’s.

Is that difficult to comprehend?

Guess what.  I am not a workaholic these days because it isn’t good for you and you need a decent work/life balance.

I am not sure pubs are Michelin star over here? mr B’s? Port Jack?
