From  a domestic point of view, MT are not great.  Got a letter about this time last year saying fibre was coming to my area in March - June this year. Yippee!

Heard nothing more, so went into the shop in July to ask.  The girl couldn't get anyone to answer when it would actually be in my area, but spent half an hour going through an application form with me as it was on the way.

I left thinking  that I would hear more soon. Yippee!

Nothing.  Called their customer service a few weeks ago to be told fibre would be here next year.  They hadn't volunteered this information just left the whole thing hanging, I had to call to get that information.

Appalling.

I've got so fed up with MT with the fibre rollout debacle that I'm now using Starlink.  I can't see myself ever going back to a local telecoms, Starlink have a great customer service and the service itself is a breeze to set up.

Over the past two years I have had to purchase two new handsets for my land line because of faults which MR insisted were due to the handsets.  The first fault turned out to be water had got in a cable down the road the second turned out to be a fault at the exchange.   No apology, not impressed.

So where's that £10million gone that the GMTPP gifted to them?
