Jet Set Juan

It seems that boy Juan has developed a taste for the jet set life. He's currently swanning around Glasgow at Cop26 taking selfies with various semi-famous politicians.

I didn't see him listed as part of the official delegation so why is he there and how much is it costing us?

It's like a shit episode of Bargain Hunt. Him and Daphne on opposite teams trying to get the most high profile selfie.

What a Prick and that’s being polite.

Attention seeking, media seeking and publicity seeking man child, who couldn’t get anywhere, in life, so became a perpetual politician. Yet he couldn’t make a success of that and make serious decisions.  Permanent Mr Squeaker a role specifically built for him, no ambition whatsoever.

Looking at his Twitter, he appears to be part of the CPA delegation, so presumably they are paying for it.

I would hope so, unless our delegates costs for their long weekend skive is coming out of the £400 million slush fund?

There's apparently more private jets at Cop26 than there will be at the Dubai airshow

Including Joe Biden's 85-car cavalcade, including a spare armoured "beast", the President's own vehicle.

Absence of virtue signalling methinks.

The only thing the Manx delegation will bring back from the COP in Glasgow is a few star-struck selfies with VIP's and an inflated sense of importance from strutting the flag on the world stage.

A poor start to the new administration, carrying on like the old one. Where's the new reality Alf ?

As an aside.  What was the reason Mrs Caine gave for not standing for CM again?

Not wanting to travel off island due to family wasn’t it?

Who’s going to break it to all the local dairy farmers when they get back that they are now only allowed to farm a cow per field from now on. To save the planet.

No problem. The taxpayers will pay them for all the cows they're not allowed to graze. We'll even stick plastic ones up for them at £10,000 a pop, imported from Norway.
