The obvious and sensible solution is for the bus to do a loop. It is a mighty 1km difference. Anything else, especially up Bank Street and Malew Street and through the square is completely stupid. Have you ever been to Castletown?

Yes lived there for 15 years but never driven up malew street in a bus!!

Longworth is apparently apoplectic at this because he's had the new bus timetables printed and now this messes them up.  

Funny how it's toys our of the pram when it doesn't suit DOI, but they were more than happy to inflict that bus lane along Glencrutchery Road on the GMP. 

Not sure but they probably should have got planning permission for their 'bus interchange' on the bypass...
