I'd like to see a couple of posts that would,

"Day to day, map out, prioritise and actively manage out pointless excess headcount in Government offices, focusing on savings and the taxpayer. Also work on behaviour change campaigns to help normalise actions that cause unauthorised recruitment. And there'll be no requirement for a new website to do it."

WFT is a Change and Engagement Manager?

I'm sure they're all lovely people, but these are just non-jobs, what on earth can they do on a day to day basis?

total waste of taxpayers funds IMHO.

Just another fall guy type job, when he’s just about ready for retirement they’ll pin the tail on the donkey and buy some more time with new false promises.

Greenwashing.

Thats all the IOM Gov. environmental policies are a way to subsidise electric vehicles and loft insulation to the middle class who are 'doing their bit'

Spend £6k that you were going to spend anyway then discover you can get £3k back by filling in a form. Means you can insulate you loft and go on that ski holiday! You under-estimate the crooked-ness of the human race, this sort of thing is also bragging rights down the pub.

"We have cheap electric because we can afford a Leaf", "We make money off the MEA because we can afford solar panels."

I would do the same but these guys don't need help IMO. We should be helping the elderly to remain in their homes and not freeze.

Chris Thomas MHK quite rightly pointed out that it should be across the whole of government and not just in DEFA where it is liable to be treated as a 'nature park'. It is much more than that.

What are the incremental benefits of having biosphere status? Was that highlighted? It seems we get just a lot of wishy washy stuff without any substance.

It means that Simon Reeve is very excited, which is nice, he seems like a pleasant guy.  That's about it.  It sounds good, but no one actually comes here because of it.

Liverpool was just stripped of it's Unesco World Heritage site status, because they created modern developments on the decrepit abandoned docks.  I'm sure there were few tears shed.
