Maintaining Ukraine as a pluralistic society is going to be really hard. Putin doesn't care about that, but we should. The thugs are being empowered by what is happening. Freggyragh Posted February 27, 2022 Share Posted February 27, 2022 (edited) Amazon Prime EU just bought up all the MiGs & other aircraft in the EU that Ukrainian pilots know how to fly - donated them to the EU & they've been donated straight to Ukraine. Should be in the air now, or very soon. Edited to say: Not sure about the Amazon donation - seems like the money maybe coming from the EU itself. The Azov Battalion has been fighting the Russians in Donblas for years and has had significant numbers of foreign volunteers in the past. I know someone that served with them and he isn't remotely a Nazi. Possible their demographic/image has changed however in the last few years leading up to the conflict. I dunno if their demographic has changed, here they are back in 2014 or so: And in 2021 they're bragging about shooting Muslims with bullets coated in pig fat. Seems fairly consistent... Seems fairly consistent... Ah yeah, they seem to have gone a bit more anti-Muslim. Just did some extra digging. Previously they were the only Ukrainian volunteer battalion.
