It is perplexing that the people who have raised these concerns fear repercussions and so have channelled their complaints through one person to preserve anonymity.

Really?

I think it’s the smug look and big smile on the commissioner’s face whilst talking about how she simply had to help.

if 11 year olds are being taught about anal sex, fisting and sex change operations then

presumably the curriculum is being produced by paedophiles

the sexualisation of children is now part of the school curriculum

wow

I thought progress was supposed to take us forwards not backwards

It’s the “if” that’s the nub.

It’s quite apparent who/what is behind the complaint/petition. You only have to look at the names. It looks like Grace Baptist/Living Hope.

Why are they such a hate filled, unloving, lot. Not a Christian value of brotherhood, love and inclusion amongst the organisations.

Yet they, and their ilk, are allowed in to schools to spread their untruths, fairy stories, without challenge.

SPCK, CTS, all of them oxymoron.

Well, yes they do seem as you say a hate filled, unloving lot.

However a lot of people signing this petition won’t be members of that organisation or even have anything to do with them.

I do understand why there is concern ( rightly or wrongly ) amongst the more general populace.

Its not just them and their ilk.

But do you understand or know the facts?

That is the issue here.  Allegations have been made, but those making the allegations are not coming forward.  If what is alleged has happened has indeed happened, a great many people would be outraged.  But it is all a bit woolly.

A quick response really is needed from DESC.

But most of the signatories have only the total misdescription and, apparently, false facts portrayed by the petition promoters. They get sucked in and sign under false pretences.
