You are obviously biased as having a background in education but whistling in the wind as far as this matter and the education in general on the Island leaves a lot to be desired.

There's no shame in admitting you were wrong and maybe jumped the gun.

How do you know it was a ridiculous document?    We have yet to get a report on the actual subject matter, we have just got a denial of a Drag Queen giving sex lessons which was not the concern just an embellishment as the tale grew bigger. It was a person who did drag acts to entertain…a big difference then.

The document featured in the Energy video was referred to by Julie Edge as not being used during teaching.

Anyway, I don't think that you can pass off the "Drag Queen giving a Sex Ed lesson sent a pupil from the room" as an embellishment - it was the headline in the off-island media. It was used by the religious right from the start. This political opportunist was particularly fast out of the gate ...

It still makes me uncomfortable that someone whose hobby is dressing up in drag is considered an appropriate adult to be giving talks to 11 year olds in school.

Why?

Schools could be chock full of people with unusual sexual proclivities and no-one would be any the wiser. I know people who like to play dress-up with toy guns at the weekend and shoot each other but they're still fairly good at their actual jobs.
