I'm going to stop posting about this because childless adults who want to sexualise children really gets to me.

Even 20-30+ years ago, Year 6s learnt that when a man and a woman love eachother very much, there's a penis, a vagina and love.

Plus, the Year 8 lesson when everyone sticks a condom over their head and inflates it with their nose whilst the teacher isn't looking is a proper giggle.

Have you actually seen what the curriculum includes for a year 7? https://www.gov.im/media/1378935/rse-year-7.pdf

Quote

Young people are given basic knowledge about
having sex (intercourse).

Young people explore what a positive first sexual
experience might be like, framed as young
people’s right to be healthy, happy and safe in
their personal and intimate adult relationships.

The age of consent is clarified

I can explain what consent in relationships means.
I can explain what sexual consent is.
I am building understanding that I am responsible for my
actions towards others.
I know that I do not need to be in a relationship, and
that relationships do not need to be sexual unless I wish
them to be so.

I am building understanding, skills and capacity to assert
myself in relationships so that I can express what I want
and don’t want.
I can explain what the age of consent is.
I can identify a place or person to go to if I have
questions or a worry

But there is no one on this thread (childless or not, we don’t know) that has said anything that would lead one to think they want to sexualise children.

To be honest I think you’ve lost the plot.

If there is genuinely a child at that house, then social services should be called in.

Come say that to my face,

I'm in Castletown.

You think kids who are 11 shouldn’t learn about safe sex and you smoke weed, and have sold drugs.

Kids shouldn’t be in that house.

Social services intervene for much less.

How much support have you got for your moronic posts/rambling over the last couple of hours?

I feel sorry for your kid

Children FIVE years below the age of consent don't need educating about condoms.

Children just about to start, or going through, puberty are at the exact age when they do need education about relationships, sex, gender and sexual identity, respect, consent, and condoms.

But the thing that sexualises children is time, so it's better for them to have some sort of idea before they hit that.  And year 7 is, if anything a bit late.  The average age for girls is 11 and boys 12.  So accurate, age-appropriate information is important, if only to correct some of what they will have already picked up from their peers or the internet.
