Part time Isle of Man.....

Don't forget the ZHC too.

All forming part of the brave new commercial world. Get those kids back up those chimneys, I say...

well perhaps, but what is the point of closing on the same day as other eateries ( i'm thinking pizza and pasta here ) better to be open when others are closed surely???

Nearly every restaurant etc close on Monday, Tuesday & some Wednesday particularly in winter, in port Erin the only place you can get hot food on Monday or Tuesday in winter is the chippy!!

True.  I had clients over a few weeks ago on a Monday and strolled the entire length of the Quay looking for somewhere to get lunch. Admittedly a couple were closed to maintenance or something rather than schedule, but we ended up going to Street Kitchen on Prospect Hill!

Try Castletown on a Monday there isn’t even a chippy anymore.

Big load of people come off the Tram in the sunshine and are now standing forlornly outside the Mines.  It's shut.

Another scutch outside the Laxey kitchen. It's shut

The coop is open. Tourists are sad.

Nevermind all the brewery staff got to stay off on a pissing down afternoon to watch all the fab stuff on the telly about Queenie. And then they’ll get to go out tonight to a nice independent pub or restaurant to escape all the stuff on telly about Queenie.

All cafes seem to shut about 4/4.30 across island, obviously no one wants a cuppa or food after 4!!
Shore in Laxey is open but obviously a long walk!

Same outside the Terminus 10 minutes ago.

There and the Queens closed for absolutely no apparent reason.  Aren’t all the pubs in Onchan H&B as well?  It’s embarrassing (and I am thirsty)
