You know it's serious when it wakes Alfie C from his weekend slumber.

Earlier today there was no bread in the Onchan Shoprite due to disruption to the boats. What happened about the concerning news given the role the bakery played in the food supply chain?. Nothing…….!.

Did anyone starve or was it just a mild inconvenience?

Does anyone care if there is no bread for a day or two?

Yes you can survive without the bread, the point is that the Chief Minister was supposedly concerned etc etc, government is meant to be ensuring food security for the Island, yet we have this indicator that government is all soundbites and no substance.

How long have you been a Manx resident, Manx Resident?

It will be badly missed....by a very small number of people.

It was supposed to be a restaurant. However it was very much a takeaway. The food was quite good but the eating environment was terrible (unless you liked sharing a space with Pizza boxes and lounging around delivery drivers)

The Chief Minister says he's concerned about lots of things.

Doesn't mean he's arsed about doing anything about them.

Agree..The quality of food wasn't great. It was cheaper than most of the other places though and had the £15 box which could feed 3 or 4 .. That had its loyal customers .
