The glue pot can’t wash its face outside of S100 and as much as people love to hate the brewery having 3 pubs so close in the same ownership can’t make sense these days. There are 5 pubs within 500 metres of one another serving 3500 people, so 2750 of drinking age. We are over supplied with licensed premises. And it’s not exactly far to Ballasalla, Colby, Bay ny Carrickey.

TheTeapot
Bowler closing throws up the possibility of that entire site being under one owner for redevelopment, it was kind of in the way. 1

Probably hoping government will buy so park road school site will be bigger & easier to develop, think the plan is for Ballaquayle schools 2 sites to go there eventually. I am pretty sure the gov bought the Bowler and leased it back years ago.

Oh, they're going to turn it back into a school? I'd put 200 flats on it. 2 minutes ago, Dave Hedgehog said: I am pretty sure the gov bought the Bowler and leased it back years ago. This would be surprisingly forward thinking of them.
