The George has a very good new menu I noticed last week. Still has some brewery classics like dried up steak pie. But the rest seemed way off from usual Brewery and the quality is good.

Just had lunch in The George - steak pie was very nice. Chips and veg were cold though

if you want good food at a decent price then you should go to Ramsey. Harbour View Bistro, amazing food

The food is very good. Yes not cheap ( unless you opt for the lunchtime light bite menu)

But I’d rather save up and go there say twice a month, rather than go to somewhere mediocre once a week.
I have no connections to the place

Don’t care, way too expensive for lunch. coast in Douglas do an excellent 3 course lunch for £19.50 with fresh fish on every day.

Do you ever work, between the drinking in every dive in Douglas and Port Erin? it seems yuppiedom is live and well in your banking career.

Coast is unique. Its really nice food. Really nice place. Friendly and efficient staff. Reasonable costs. What else could you ask for. Keep it quiet though, don't want everyone to know. Don't want any Facebook riffraff
