I know off topic. But I had a flashback as a kid of some bottle of ginger ale/wine which always seemed to appear at xmas, it was in a small bottle and you added water to the mixture. Bottle I recall was no bigger than a Tabasco bottle but was pear shaped. Any ideas or are the mushrooms kicking in?

I remember ginger cordial/wine concentrate shots. Coop still sell. James Whites, Riddles, Beau Ginger, Jackson Roze, Fair Tuck’s. 

Bottle size between 80-125ml?

No it was upstairs at Monsoon.

No it wasn’t it is next door to Monsoon, still there.     Apparently M & co are looking for buyers according to a staff member.    The last time I was in there about four weeks ago they had buckets around catching water dripping from the ceiling.

Yes the roof is knackered. You can see from Chester St that they’ve got plastic sheeting laid out on the concrete roof above.

Bit of piste I know but has anyone tried Rochester Ginger from Holland Barrett with whiskey and a touch of water on the rocks. Works well.
