Some of the best food on the island IMO, and always good service. Non-Believer
I attended many an enjoyable function at the HB, sad loss for the town. In fact one outstanding memory was watching Michael Moyle, on an adjacent table, quoff red wine like it was going out of fashion then teeter out to his car at the end of the night and drive off... They have obviously never been and are just making noise to make it seem like they are allowed out of the home they are locked up in. Children eat half price during the holidays. £13.50 light bites menu including monkfish scampi and steak ciabatta. Starters menu less than £10. Main courses standard for this type of restaurant. Some starting at £15. For context it's £13.50 for a pasta dish in Just Pizza n Pasta. What are you expecting? 2

He sounds more like someone who has never been and who heard from a friend of a friend. the food was brilliant value. I really hope they open somewhere else soon (and get some help with the marketing) The bit about marketing is constructive criticism BTW, not a dig. They truly deserve to succeed. 1

I spent £50 on steaks at M&S yesterday for 4 of us... £27 in a restaurant is quite reasonable these days unfortunately.

I'm not sure they needed the marketing. As has been alluded to, I believe, there is a lot more to the operation closing at this premises than simply costs.
