Barlow
I used to often go to the Fixings place at Hills Meadow all those years ago, but I didn't even know this place existed. But Snugborough? I worked there when Fuschia Homes built the place in the 1970s. Never really been back other than to pick up a parcel.
WTF
they were down just past rambos for a while after IFF closed and then moved to snugborough a while later i the old whitaker trading building.
The Phantom
Annoyingly I just realised they are usually my port of call for random bolts, screws etc. They have like hardware pick and mix boxes and you can just buy how many you need, rather than a pack of 100 when you only need 1.

On the adverts on the outside of their building there is no mention of "Caulk" If only Bret had thought about it a bit more. Thought about his imaginary MF customers who use American Google 🙂 Very sad closure as I said originally, he is a good guy. 1

I disputed (and others agreed) your assumption that the closure was down to a lack of business on the island. It’s not. When were you last in there out of interest? People try to run a business generating jobs, VAT and a service to the community and some clown with no idea what they are on about posts this sort of rubbish without being arsed to do even the most simple fact check. Do you want to explain either that post, or why you started a rumour that a good local business was closed for no reason? I am going to assume it’s a no on both counts.

They’re also opening later in day due to being knackered from being so busy over TT!!
Kopek
How many pints can one pull in an hour? Just because it is TT week, can one pull more? Would seem to me be not? More to this than obvious?

Have done it many times and by the end you’re absolutely knackered having had no time to catch your breath never mind get enough sleep. Then back in at 6 am to get ahead of yourself before you start again. . Don’t blame them to have a few days off tbh. A quick google bring up their Facebook page which says that they were closed yesterday because their "beer chiller which is integral to our service is seriously on the blink" and shut today to try to get it fixed. Some other recent days they've been shut till 5 or 6 pm, presumably so staff can have time off in what may be a quieter time.
