I know how devious and convincing some drug addicts can be. The need for speed and heroin and I suppose coke these days, can apparently trigger creative well honed acting skills. If the chance arises, I will enquire more. It may cost me a pack of sarnies and some pop though. I haven't come across the beggar in a wheelchair again (mentioned previously). Maybe he looked into doing wheelchair sport as discussed (Leeds has a nearby arena that specialises in this), or maybe he managed to chuck himself and his wheelchair over a bridge and successfully end his life this time.
