They do seem a strange bunch, they recently objected to the plans for more houses in peel yet it turned out that 2 years ago they wrote in connection with the western plans asking for a lot more houses to be put into the plan. That’s not the issue , in respect of the cafe it transpires that the building is falling apart, the commissioners applied for permission to build a new one, build a new indoor clubhouse on tennis courts but turned down by planners as tennis courts are only zoned for tourism !! The issues with the new houses in western plan are to do with infrastructure but it’s no different to when commissioners strongly supported substantial new housing & just changed their mind with no explanation as new sewage treatment plant is due to go to planning.
