Unbelievable that someone would be so stupid as to do this in the House of Commons. I am certainly of the opinion that mobile phones, tablets etc should not be used in there (or any place of work unless absolutely necessary ) However given that the talk is all going round about misogyny, fuelled no doubt by the Angela Rainer business etc, I know, that a percentage of women ( maybe if not as big a percentage of men) enjoy watching pornography. I wonder what the reaction would be if a female MP were to be discovered watching pornography rather than listening to Ian Blackford blabbing on and on. manxman1980
@ManxTaxPayer I think he was just getting excited about whips... @The Voice of Reason For fucks sake Tory MPs were furious about a woman breastfeeding their baby in the House of Commons. If these MPs find it so difficult to be around women then it's just pathetic.

Annoymouse
He’s a muppet but what porn website has a similar name to a tractor website in that the first viewing was accidental? or did he just mistype plow and got more than he bargained for. Maybe a couple of Tory MP’s were “furious” about a woman breastfeeding their baby in the House of Commons. I don’t recall such a furore but I’m sure you must be right. How that comes into a discussion about an MP watching pornography from their seat in the House of Commons I’m not really sure

Maybe he was looking for something to scatter seed. And Massey Furguson has always sounded like a euphemism to me.
Mr. Sausages
“Funnily enough it was tractors I was looking at” is going to become a catchphrase for years

How that comes into a discussion about an MP watching pornography from their seat in the House of Commons I’m not really sure I was challenging your warped view in which you appear to say that Angela Rayner crossing her legs is a distraction to male MPs and that there wouldn't be such a reaction had it been a woman looking at porn. I was giving you another example of where some male MPs were outraged that a woman should breastfeed in the house of commons www.ndtv.com/offbeat/breastfeeding-british-mp-stella-creasy-told-not-to-bring-baby-to-parliament-2624062/amp/1 And yet a male MP thought it okay to look at tractor porn... Not even a young liberal MP but an old married Conservative. You know that the Conservative party are the party of family values, law and order don't you? It surprises me because very few of them appear to hold those values when it comes to their own lives.

I wasn’t saying that (or even appearing to say that) at all. You have completely misunderstood. As for the breastfeeding issue I know that some men ( and women) find it uncomfortable seeing it in public but it doesn’t concern me at all. The issue is doing it in a workplace. Not the gender of the person doing it.

It is all really rather sad and pathetic. And what is so wrong with contemplating different scenarios? It goes on in here all the time. To wit; What would be the effect on TT visitors if an all island speed limit were introduced? Could the Island be governed more/less effectively with fewer MHK’s? And further afield, would the England football team had fared better in the 1970’s if Brian Clough had been appointed manager? As for your accusation of me being a Tory apologist I shall treat that with the contempt it deserves, particularly coming from a faux feminist like yourself Edited May 1, 2022 by The Voice of Reason
