Longworths legacy got to keep the Merc cars rolling in. Anyway is it just me or are the schools getting their mini buses back, seen quite a few with sponsorship and who bought them appearing back at the schools. Or are they just being moved to make space for the new fleet of electrickery sharabangs soon to be clogging up the arterial roots as battery's fail. Declan
I expect it will surprise no one that they’re putting the prices back up. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0ikCdxUtuWeKPhi9tYfiaszEyaPMhHr1x1CkwXkV9gTcZgcognoetZDmCxk6BNHKPl&id=100064584556839
Ringy Rose
Summer timetable out, very few changes. Before Covid the south buses were four an hour and the Douglas-Peel buses were three an hour. Neither are back to that frequency. Chris Thomas, of course, is out stating that Bus Vannin are “back to a pre-pandemic timetable”. Round where I am the buses used to be hourly now they’re two-hourly. Does Chris Thomas not arse himself to check anything the DOI tell him?

The new timetable does at least fix the Port St. Mary problem where the two buses an hour were at the same time. They're now at 59 and 39 minutes past. Also for a few short months in the summer there'll be a Creg Neish / Sound service at weekends (described as Bradda - Port Erin - PSM - Sound despite of not going near Bradda) and a random Peel - PE one. But the real issue is I'm going to have to leave the house four minutes earlier in the morning. Fascists! The area around the bottom of Bray Hill is a bus desert, definitely, and I don’t understand why they don’t send some of the buses from Willaston down Bray Hill.
Declan
Fair point. There was one a few years ago that came back from the Business Park through that area.
