Ashford: Should he stay or should he go?

136 members have voted

  1. 1. What is the forums view on this fantasists ability to hang on to a role on Comin?

    • He should resign himself
    • He should be told to go regardless
  2. 2. Does anyone think he has the personal integrity to tender a resignation himself without being pushed?

  3. 3. Should the UK also be asking questions about his MBE?

He has perhaps revealed the approach taken in candidate selection.

I suspect these candidates were impressive by apparent confidence and self promotion backed  by extravagant claims of ability from a facade of personal dynamism.

Mark Charters being the classic example .

Ashford still doesn't get it does he. Arguably the key to the Ranson debacle was that Magson couldn't provide effective leadership and purview from hundreds of miles away. Ashie's comments today on the radio are another arse-covering exercise. But it's too late. We've already seen his arse.

The Chief Minister thought he was wonderful, absolutely wonderful, and sat on the interviewing committee. Chief Minister is a powerful position.

It isn't  irrelevant if Magson has returned to her previous role in the Health service from which she came to us!

She may have done a good or bad job for us but are her former and ongoing employers aware of the shenanigans here?

But has that affected her ongoing employment? That's the point? Did she walk back into her previous employment or is she on 'gardening' while they assess her position?

Does her employment performance here have any effect on her ongoing or resuming employment???

While it is hard to wish harm on any person, has her performance been taken into account elsewhere?

But will ignore it anyway!

Hard to ignore this case given the media attention it attracted. The details were widely published in the national mainstream media as well as medical media. If you were her other employer would you decide that best practice would be to call Magson in for a formal interview in the boardroom? For sure I would. The conclusions of the case were pretty damning after all.

Maybe it can't be discussed with the other employer because of the vague definition of sub judice hanging over the proceedings pending the further investigations. There's murmurings of possible criminality, controlling behaviour is also a crime these days.

All in all I'd say it's hard to ignore.

It does have some relevance.

When people  were being assessed for this post, here it would seem was a candidate who was apparently very talented and valued by her  employers.

Such was their generousity, they  readily agreed to lose such a  vital member of their organisation for 3 days a week to for her to work some where  else.

“ somewhere else’”, being here.It didn’t  even mean  going  “somewhere else but  instead staying at home and and delivering her talent in the form of latter day colonial service by modern technology.
