Ashford: Should he stay or should he go?

136 members have voted

  1. 1. What is the forums view on this fantasists ability to hang on to a role on Comin?

    • He should resign himself
    • He should be told to go regardless
  2. 2. Does anyone think he has the personal integrity to tender a resignation himself without being pushed?

  3. 3. Should the UK also be asking questions about his MBE?

But he’s a local boy, well known, worked his way up. Answers emails. Sorts out things for constituents.

His supporters are the ones without the inquisitive minds.

In their view, he’s a good lad.

This is totally it. He answers stuff that tbh is just tittle tattle and not really MHK resbonsibility. He is up his own ass and completely deluded on his ability and knowledge. Also in my view he's clearly a liar and thats unforgivable in my view. He needs to go in every area including as a MHK . Perhaps apart from doing him a favour it might help him learn some values. Don't think he will step down as a MHK though as its another quality he lacks is awareness and humility .

I thought the poll was clear. I said should he go from Comin not should he be sacked as an MHK. I also said should the UK look into his MBE not that it should be taken from him. Ashford seems to have some strange supporters though who try to read other things into it.

Oh right, to be honest makes no difference to my life what happens with him. I was just wondering.

What happens to him will make a great deal of difference, or certainly should, to most people's lives on the island.  If nothing else it should demonstrate that people in his position will eventually be brought to book for their misdeeds or inadequacies or as in his case BOTH.
