Years minimum. I reckon at least 5.

The current crisis basically boils down to not being able to get the gas from around the world to the right places, because why would you invest in that with cheap Russian gas on your doorstep? That complacency and the assumption that Russia would stay friendly got us into that mess, as they’re now essentially trying to cause turmoil so that governments will focus on internal strife rather than Ukraine. Of course, you can’t be in too much of a hurry to fix it as the oil and gas industry, because it’s currently intensely profitable. How many other times would they be able to sell it for so much?
Non-Believer
What we are essentially looking at is a wealth transfer from the western populace to a very few nations and/or corporate monsters and their institutional investors, that there has never been the equal of. Governments are running scared of the situation for fear that these institutions may withdraw their meagre tax payments from those jurisdictions with the ease of global transfer that now exists. Liz Truss stated just this during a hustings debate with Sunak on Sky the other night under questioning about a windfall tax on the energy companies in the present situation. "No, we can't do it because it would make UK unappealing to these companies". IE they will just shift their money elsewhere if they have to start paying taxes on it. These companies are presently holding the world to ransom. Only when there is global agreement on taxation of these multinationals in order to keep wealth in circulation will it end. 6
The Phantom
Seemed the right place to put this. Great little video of our beautiful surrounding sea and the people trying to learn from and protect it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L31kciNf2SE&t=6s I'm actually kind of suprised that this has got a Govt stamp on it. If my taxes could be diverted from rail-based shambles towards this, I'd be happy. 1

I don’t know if it was deliberate or genuine ignorance but anything which refers to Mr rather than Professor Curran and cover ups within the first 40 seconds is all a bit Matt Le Tissier. Still, if you can’t accept you might be part of the problem and don’t want to change anything ever it'll be music to your ears. It’s even a video rather than something you have to read. 1 1

No doubt someone, somewhere will soon be telling us it’s been watched by x number of people, when in reality they have watched the first 10 seconds then skipped to the middle to see if it gets better and then skipped to the last thirty seconds. Their viewing analytics will look like pornhub
