Is there not the merest hint of a suspicion of a possibility that it's because the Mountain Road is one-way? And they can do the Nurburgring in only 2mins 30secs, so they are looking for new challenges?

No, that can't be right - "new challenges" are only for civil servants who got the boot.

Lets be honest has a civil servant ever had a "new challenge" apart from I need a piss shall I go to the toilet?

There's no need, everybody knows who they are. You don't have the intelligence to pull them off without it being blatently obvious.

I don't know who they are, and I am the smartest poster on here.

Don't get why there aren't cameras there. Easily setup monitoring software to identify anyone driving the wrong way past a certain point. Maybe a £1,000 fine and 6 points for wreckless driving and endangering life might deter them. Second time you'd lose your license and few months in Jurby Hilton. That's assusming they have a license.

If you're not happy about the ability of other people doing 160mph behind you, the sensible course of action would be to stay off the road - wouldn't it - rather than complaining about the police?  Or you could campaign to stop people being allowed to do 160mph on public roads?

I would prefer to be able to mitigate my own risk by doing more than 40mph in places where I suspect someone behind could be be doing 120mph more than that.

If they have a UK licence unenforceable so pointless

Much cheaper solution, take all licences off the over 60's.

Would be easy enough to put some temporary speed bumps in slow them down, to protect little snowflakes like you
