Speed bumps need to be fixed to the floor, unlike cones.

Because blue light services can deploy temporary speed bumps in the road without fixing them 'to the floor' just like they can deploy cones. Ativa
Very, very close to multiple spectator injuries or death at the Indy 500 yesterday despite huge fences and massive progression in safety over the years. It just shows that motorsport is and will always be dangerous and that fans and competitors have to accept thatย It looks like a cracking day for first practice. ย Food and drinks are all packed ย and as a family we are looking forward to a sunny day up the mountain. Fingers crossed for a great couple of weeks of practice and racing with some fun in the pubs in the evenings. ย

Surely they will move around and become a hazard.

Ativa
https://fb.watch/kQ6UQMGi2i/ ย 160 mph plus over the mountain. ย All perfectly safe and reasonable riding as far as I could see (possibly a bit quick through the cones) Nice to see people able to give their bikes a good run.
