No that isn't a fact. It's also been held on a Sunday ever since at least 2014. They made the mountain 1 way for the whole 2 week period to calm Mad Sunday, not this.

First time “The Mountain Road section of the course will then close behind the last participating rider in preparation for this afternoon’s Superbike race” so it’s basically been used to kill Mad Sunday this year.

"Mad Sunday" hasn't been a thing in decades. It stopped being anything when the mountain changed to being 1-way for the entire period. Anybody who's spent any time actually around the TT in any capacity could tell you this.

How have you managed to keep all the rage under a lid or is there another poster now on a break? 😂 This is the first year we’ve officially had no Mad Sunday with the legacy lap then leading to a close of the course for the later racing effectively meaning the course is largely unusable for public fast laps virtually all of the day.
