You own the boats and the airport, come on how hard can it be? ETA. A local mobile telecoms provider have made it known to shareholders that the island had "Many less people on the island during the TT" Than in previous years. More people at the end of the event which is exactly what the new schedule was meant to encourage. It will take a few years for people to adjust and the full benefit to be seen. If you go to the IOM between 2 dates - say a couple of days before practice and a couple of days after race week - and all return journeys in-between You could make a best guess that the people doing that return journey are here for the TT. It is really not hard. You can come back with "lots of business people do return journeys during the same period, which messes up that metric" But that is fucking bull sh1t. they don't go to the island at TT time as they don't want to pay inflated prices and most local businesses are on partial shutdown due to the Death Fest. Which part of the fact that it was deliberately setup to be a longer festival with people coming and going is hard for you to understand? We don’t have the bed space for thousands of people for two full weeks, and TT fans don’t want to do that anyway. They changed the event so that more people came for shorter trips.
