With a successful rider delivering the message it might reach an audience that would otherwise switch off for messengers like Ashie or the new guy. Although going on the number of hits it's not a massive audience.

Not at all - Manx Care has secured support from TT riders including Peter Hickman, Dean Harrison, Lee Johnston and Davey Todd to share this important message, which will soon begin to appear on its social media channels (@ManxCare). Omobono
WTF why didn't you read the post. emergencies are treated differently ? about 90 percent of people who turn up at A and E are not unconscious , go to Spain sometime and see how quick they are to get your payment card details , if you are not a national ,
piebaps
I've been on a ski trip where the Italians wanted paying before treatment was given.

He was making it completely clear that riders and supporters need to arrange health insurance before they come here. It's exactly the same advice given to us should we wish to travel the UK, Wasn't he? Surely TT visitors should be required to take out adequate insurance, not getting 'reminders' or hints. Also there should be a mandatory £1000 damage deposit to bring a bike over only returnable when they leave without doing a 'Peters' on the mountain. It's about £30k to be heli-lifted off a mountain. Luckily I don't think they require payment in advance for that.

If you read the press release from Manx Care, it mentions that repatriation to the UK isn't always covered under the reciprical health agreement. People coming from the UK may not realise this and thing that they don't need insurance. Reminders like this are put out for just such a reason
