Dirty Buggane
Whats it going to take, a senior civil service member murdering someone and walking out of court free, it was the fault of the person murdered. Not the civil service personal, who has had to retire on a eye watering hand shake and a pension due to stress. Our responce to the problem, hire more managers. This always sorts the problem. Fantasy?. Who knows. Also judges/Deemsters/Police after exhaustive investigations move on nothing to see, move along there. cissolt
On the Manx care apology, I am stunned that someone hasnt configured a simple email policy to restrict internal recipients to 10 without management approval. This would take 15 minutes at most. Richard wild, if you are reading this and use my suggestion please remember to acknowledge my contribution at your next performance appraisal. Assuming you still have a job.
360 View
“Historic breaches” says Manx Care in its epistle to the masses, trying it’s best to blame everything on everyone else in a diabolical, almost incomprehensible, “apology”. Is this its entry to a government award for business bullshittery? The big email cock up was October 2021, followed by others after that according to Commissioner - that’s on Manx Care’s watch - how is that “historic”? don’t they read anything or realise what it’s about? 1

No they don't even understand the problem, as evidenced in the info commissioner report. Internal mail issues will not be fixed by spending millions on yet another flaky NHS UK system, nor by recruiting a whole team of managers on over 60k each
Mistercee
Manx Care still cannot get even the most basic things right. I saw a consultant in early July. The letter to my GP was dictated on the day of my appointment but not typed until 23 days later. It was not delivered until 7 days after typing. The letter indicated that I would be reviewed again in 6 months. My appointment letter arrived yesterday - the appointment is in April 2023 - 10 months after my July appointment. The letter is on Manx Care headed notepaper which at the top right hand corner shows the address as follows: Nobles Hospital Strang Douglas ISLE OF MAN IM4 4RJ The footer at the bottom shows: Manx Care· Noble's Hospital· Strang ·Braddan · Isle of Man· IM4 4RJ If they cannot get letter production, the appointments system or the address on their headed notepaper right what hope is there for them to ever get to grips with an IT system?? It really is woefully pathetic.

What salary is he on? Looks like they could save some money be culling him and not recruiting for these non-jobs. Wild head should roll, he been in the roll for years so it’s his incompetence
