It's the calibre of the person,not their profession that matters. Unless you were thinking of the wonderful contributions of businessmen such as John J Bell or landowners such a Howard Quayle? Of course, some in Govt would much rather deflect news like this, naturally, wouldn't they? 😉. I'm sure that dentists will be queueing to come here once we get all the new developments built, let's just hope that nobody gets toothache in the interim. And of course, all these 5k people are paying NI, some of which is supposed to pay for dental treatment that they can't access. All helps the pension fund gap though. It was a general comment as the general mood of the latest posts is criticising new appointments. Genuine question though (to the wider community). The Health service is massively struggling to get staff and we have shortages in many key areas of health care. Staffing levels have gone up but they are not all colouring in are they? Actually this is partly them being patronising ("The plebs will only understand 'job'") but also because it's an automatic feed and this would require them to always identify which were new and which replacement positions on the website. All jobs are listed in the order they were advertised on the government job page. It is incredibly easy to see how “old” a listing is.
